Organized
balloon-kite sky trials provide opportunities to have falcons demonstrate
their ability as well as speed for flying up and hunting the lure at heights
between 200-300 meters.
On windy days the lure hangs on a kite.
Without wind a balloon must be used to suspend the lure. This type of
training is useful for waiting on falconry where falcons typically soar-hunt
from a level between 100-300 meters.
